I’m writing a novel about a young lady named Cassidy who is serving in the US Navy.
She grew up without a father and has been deeply hurt by the only guy she ever really loved. Her fear of being hurt again keeps her from getting into any serious love relationships, so she keeps her male encounters casual. Nothing more than hot sex, a hot shower and maybe some hot coffee in the morning.
When she meets Andrew, she wants to make him her next casual sex buddy, but he wants more than a few casual encounters with her.
After struggling internally, Cassidy realizes she wants something deeper with Andrew as well. Although terrified of being hurt again, she realizes he’s worth the risk.
The two fall in love, and develop a deep intimate connection. But alarming circumstances and disturbing events jeopardize the relationship they’ve invested so much in. Their love is tested and they have to determine if their bond is strong enough to withstand the devastating situation they find themselves in.
I hope to have the Novel published this year. Maybe I’ll post a few excerpts.
