Military Romance Author

I like Mark Twain’s quote, “Write what you know.” I believe it’s also important to write what you feel passionate about. For me, that’s Military Romance. Meeting that special someone and falling in love is an exhilarating journey – an exciting adventure, filled with twists, turns, heartache and euphoria – the sweaty palms, butterflies in the stomach, that achy feeling when you’ve been away from your loved one for more than five minutes. I’ve experienced it. I hope you have as well.  Loving someone who serves in the military intensifies the thrill and the bittersweet adventure.  As a Navy veteran, I naturally have a passion for the armed forces and the military lifestyle. I enjoy creating military love stories because through my characters I get to experience that roller-coaster romance ride over and over again. 

Fraternization within the military is a very serious offense. Ethan Parker is a Navy officer. Layla Matthews is enlisted. They’re involved in a sizzling romance, but the difference between their ranks means a relationship between them is prohibited by military regulations. Follow their journey as they try to come to terms with an impossible decision: Will they follow the rules or follow their hearts?

When Navy pilot, Ethan Parker falls for the woman he met at a coffee shop, he knows she’s the one he’s waited his entire life for. She’s sensual, sassy and smart. What he doesn’t know is she’s also in the Navy, and her enlisted rank means a relationship with her could potentially get him discharged from military service.

While on leave from teaching at a top Naval facility, Layla Matthews tumbles head-over-heels for the sexiest man she’s encountered in a long time. The fact that he can hold an intelligent conversation is an added bonus. Her world is turned upside down when she later discovers he’s a Navy lieutenant. A senior officer. Her new boss. Definitely off-limits.

Continuing their relationship could ruin their military careers. Ending it would break both their hearts. Do they end their sizzling romance or keep it a secret… and pray no one finds out?
